Our products are crafted from simple, time-tested ingredients. By prioritizing minimally processed, naturally derived ingredients, we seek to strengthen farming, reduce industrial processing, and create products with meaningful and visible origins.

At the heart of many of our formulations is responsibly sourced tallow—a traditional ingredient that has nourished and protected skin for generations. Rather than viewing every part of an animal as disposable, we embrace a philosophy of stewardship: respecting the whole animal by making thoughtful use of materials that might otherwise be overlooked. We believe honouring what animals provide is one small way to encourage a culture of gratitude, responsibility, and respect for nature.

Healthy skin begins with healthy ingredients. We formulate with nutrient-rich natural fats, botanical oils, and selected plant extracts, avoiding unnecessary synthetic additives whenever possible, for products that work in harmony with the skin's natural biology rather than overwhelming it with complexity.

Every jar represents a simple idea: that by choosing thoughtfully sourced ingredients, respecting nature's cycles, minimizing waste, and supporting agriculture, we can create skincare that contributes to a healthier future for people, animals, and the planet.

We believe transportation has a high negative impact on the environment. We do out best to locally source any supplies used to produce our products, or minimize transportation footprint using bulk transportation.

We believe recycling is important in sustainability efforts. We have elected to use materials that are more widely and easily recycled with smaller waste and energy footprint when compared to alternatives, including natural fibre and paper based options, and glass containers.

We use recycled material options for our packaging and offer bulk options for larger orders whenever practical.

While our products are not certified organic, we do our best to source natural and organic ingredients whenever possible. In fact, many of our ingredients are from organic origins.

We do not use preservatives or artificial fragrances whenever possible. Due to this, some of our products have a shorter natural life, which can be extended by storage in a cool, dim and dry place.

We work hard in partnership with our suppliers to ensure the safety of our products being packaged and thoughtfully strive to reduce cross-contamination with allergens. Our products are produced in a SQF certified facility.

We use the bare essential number of ingredients and process them minimally and in small batches for freshness, so that you can feel good about the products you consume.

When possible, we choose suppliers that avoid practices associated with large scale farming.

We support local businesses and whenever possible, we use local partners for our various business needs. We also use local processors for tasks that we can broker here in Canada.

We are a small team, that feels like family. We enjoy what we create, and hope it reflects positively through our products.
